Brenda Greggio is a jazz pianist, composer, and vocalist from San Diego who is now based in New York City.

She graduated from the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, where she majored in Jazz Studies, and later earned a degree in Jazz Piano from the Manhattan School of Music, studying under acclaimed pianist Ted Rosenthal.

Brenda began studying classical piano at the age of four with Ms. Tanya Djangirov. At eight, she discovered jazz and began taking jazz piano lessons, studying with Philip Jay Lim, Gilbert Castellanos, Kamau Kenyatta, Danny Green, Dr. John Reynolds, Katie Thiroux, and Lee Secard.

She was a student at the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory in San Diego and the Colburn Music School in Los Angeles.

A highly accomplished musician from an early age, Brenda received two National YoungArts Foundation Awards as a teenager. She was selected twice to participate in the Monterey Jazz Festival's Women in Jazz program and earned both Outstanding Composition and Outstanding Arrangement honors in the DownBeat Student Music Awards (SMA), among many other distinctions.

Brenda was also one of the select global scholarship recipients of the Sony Music Group Global Scholars Program, an initiative created to support and educate the next generation of music leaders around the world.
