Brenda  Greggio  is  a  seventeen year  old San  Diego  based  Jazz /pianist/ musician/composer/singer. 

She is currently a junior at The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts with a major in Jazz studies.

She has been studying classical piano since she was 4, with Ms. Tanya Djangirov. When she turned 8, she began to take jazz piano lessons. She has been studying Jazz for years with Gilbert Castellanos, Kamau Kenyatta, Irving Flores, Philip Jay Lim, Danny Green, Dr. John Reynolds, Robert Dove and Lee Secard.

She is a student of the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory in San Diego and of the Colburn School in Los Angeles.

Brenda was named a 2021 National YoungArts Foundation Honorable Mention Winner in Jazz: Composition.

In 2020, and also 2021 Brenda has been selected to be part of the international combo Women in Jazz . She will be playing in Monterey at the 64th Jazz Festival.

In 2019, Brenda and her Conservatory Ensemble took 3rd place at Monterey Jazz Next Gen and with her Big Band from SDSCPA, was one of the 15 finalists at the Essentially Ellington Competition - Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC.

Brenda  won the outstanding soloist award at University of Las Vegas Jazz "Essentially Ellington" SW Regional Festival in January 2019.

Brenda plays regularly  all around Southern California with several musicians and her bands. She can be seen at Panama 66 in Balboa Park on Wednesday nights.
